“The RSF killed more than 3,000 children and also used some of them in combat operations,” said Abdulkader Abdallah, secretary general of the National Council for the Protection of Children.

Abdullah said that more than 5,000 children had been raped during the conflict, including 700 girls and 100 boys since the beginning of July 2024.

The Secretary-General added that 10 million children suffer from malnutrition due to the lack of livelihoods of their families.
