For the first time since independence from France, the 🇨🇫 Central African Republic has appointed regional governors.

On 31 May 2024, the president of the republic, Faustin Arkange Touadera, issued a decree 📜 appointing the country’s regional governors. A total of seven 7 people were appointed to these new positions 💼:

1 – Plateaux region – Decombault Joseph
2 – Équateur region – Dindi Mbomongo Marcial.
3 – Yadé region – Milikan Brtélemy
4 – Kagas region – Baka Nadiré Cécile
5 – Fertit region – Colonel Jacques Ngombe.
6 – Haut-Oubangui region – Victor Bissenkoue
7 – Bas-Oubangui region – Sorongope Jumanji Eric
