Belarusian President Lukashenko hopes Nigeria’s Bola Tinubu will be able to pay a visit to Minsk

Alexander Lukashenko also said that his country is interested in developing cooperation with Nigeria. The Belarusian leader met with Nigeria’s First Lady Oluremi “Remi” Tinubu in Minsk on Wednesday, the Belarusian president’s press service said.

“It is very good that you have come. It will be an interesting and very useful beginning of our cooperation. I very much hope that after your visit there will be a visit of both the president and your ministers to Belarus, so that we can begin to cooperate more closely,” the press service quoted Lukashenko as saying.

Lukashenko added, “We are very interested in your country, and I think we will be useful to you.”

He asked the guest to convey his best wishes to Bola Tinubu. “And tell him that we are ready to receive him at any time,” the Belarusian president said.
