Josep Borrell on Tuesday commented on the ICC’s decision to issue arrest warrants for senior Israeli officials in connection with war crimes in Gaza. In his statement, he emphasized that, by law, all member countries of the European Union will have to assume obligations.

He explained that as soon as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or Defense Minister Yoav Gallant arrive in a European country, they face immediate arrest.
