According to preliminary data, there are casualties. Local media reported that the bomb was detonated by a terrorist.

Initial reports suggest the explosion was caused by a car bomb but this information has not been confirmed by authorities.

The militant group al-Shabaab is suspected to be behind the attack, however, no group has officially claimed responsibility.
