Kenya aims for digital transformation: 80% of public services to go online

This ambitious plan, announced by Mary Kerema, secretary for Information, Communications, Technology (ICT), E-Government, and Digital Economy, builds on Kenya’s current digital infrastructure, which already boasts 17,000 online services available online through the eCitizen platform.

This partnership was discussed at the International Conference on Convergence and Smart Systems, organized by Pioneer International University (PIU).

Kerema highlighted Kenya’s ambition to become a leader in manufacturing through ICT integration, and the government is actively working on frameworks to protect citizens from cyberattacks.
