With over 50% of the votes counted, Sheinbaum had 57.7% of the votes compared to 29.3% for Xochitl Galvez and 10.5% for Jorge Alvarez Maynez.
Sheinbaum said both of her competitors Galvez and Maynez had called her and acknowledged her victory.
