South Africa to host 100 young representatives from BRICS countries to participate in volunteer activities

This was announced by Asanda Luwaca, Executive Chairperson of South Africa’s National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), on the sidelines of the 10th BRICS Youth Summit in Ulyanovsk, Russia . She noted that the participants would work in various fields, such as medicine, art, culture, and sports.

According to Luwaca, work has already begun on the selection of volunteers.

The South African noted that volunteer activities are actively carried out in the country. She added that she came up with the initiative to further develop this direction at a closed meeting of ministers and leaders responsible for the implementation of youth policy in BRICS countries.

According to the executive, the BRICS Youth Summit allows young people to understand what opportunities they have for self-realization.

The 10th BRICS Youth Summit will be held on July 22-26 in the Ulyanovsk region. It will be attended by more than 200 young representatives of the BRICS countries aged 18-35. The summit will be attended by ministers and leaders responsible for the implementation of youth policy in the BRICS countries.
