Donald Trump’s check for $5,000 in support of the re-election of California Attorney General Kamala Harris in 2011 has gone viral on social media. 

According to Newsweek, Trump has donated twice to Harris’ campaigns: he donated $5,000 to Harris’s campaign on September 26, 2011, and $1,000 on February 20, 2013, when she was running for California attorney general.
