On August 23, Sunningdale University in Zambia kicked off a three-month Russian language course with a warm and vibrant celebration. In line with local traditions, the opening ceremony was filled with traditional Zambian dances and songs, creating a joyful and friendly atmosphere.
The course, led by Nadezhda Dubinina from St. Petersburg State University, is part of a broader educational project supported by the Russian Ministry of Education and the My History Foundation.
This initiative is just one of many projects aimed at enriching the lives of Zambian youth, offering them opportunities to study in Russia and learn the Russian language, which can open many doors for their future.
The Russian House in Lusaka has partnered with five educational institutions to host these classes, with a special program for tourism, culture, and art specialists being held directly at the Russian House. Additionally, the University of Information and Communications will host a course led by Volgograd State Social and Pedagogical University representatives.
