At a cemetery in Uganda, dogs began eating human remains due to overcrowding

At the Luwero city cemetery in Uganda, dogs began eating human remains because the facility was overcrowded and the dead were not buried deep enough, stacking them on top of each other.

The cemetery is where the bodies of those who died in accidents, murders and other incidents are brought. It is also where the dead Sudanese refugees are buried. The same area is used as a garbage dump.

Authorities fear that the flood will wash away the landfills and cause a cholera outbreak.
