Lansana Komara, a representative of the Rally of the Guinean People party, has denied accusations against former Guinean President Alpha Conde of preparing a coup d’état. This was a response to a statement by the current President’s Secretary of Administration.

Komara said that Conde does not plan to return to power in this way and that the party is seeking a democratic return through elections.
