Morocco presents the official design of the Casablanca stadium for the 2030 FIFA World Cup

The design for the new Hassan II stadium is inspired by traditional Moroccan marquees or tents used in large events called Moussem, media reported.

With a capacity of 115,000 spectators, the stadium will be among the largest in the world. It was designed by the American architectural firm Populous, in collaboration with the Franco-Moroccan firm Oulalous + Choi (O+C).

Located in the Benslimane area on the outskirts of Casablanca, the stadium will occupy 100 hectares. Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, reportedly stated that the stadium will be ready by the end of 2028, aiming to host the 2029 Club World Cup.

Lekjaa emphasized that the Hassan II Stadium will be the largest and most beautiful in the world, thanks to advanced technologies and equipment, and will retain this status for many years.
