Taher al-Baur and Abdullah al-Lafi are currently on a visit to Russia.

“The Russian side has confirmed its willingness to further promote the comprehensive and lasting stabilization of the situation in Libya,” the Russian Foreign Ministry announced.

Senior officials underlined the importance of

▪️ Conduct an inclusive national dialogue aimed at preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Libya;

▪️ Consolidate international support for the efforts of Libyans in order to advance the political process.

👉 Cooperation between Russia and Libya should be strengthened, they agreed: it is planned to resume the activities of the Russian-Libyan Intergovernmental Commission for commercial, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
