International agricultural forum ASIAEXPO is scheduled to take place in Russia’s Sirius Federal Territory on October 23-25.Participation in ASIAEXPO was confirmed by Gabonese, Cameroonian, Saudi Arabian and Iraqi high-ranking officials, the forum’s director general, Igor Milovanov, told Sputnik.

“Last year showed the demand for this forum. It was attended by about 6,000 people. The worth of contracts signed during ASIAEXPO in 2023 […] was almost 3 billion rubles [$32.7 million]. We see great potential in developing trade relations with African countries, and the upcoming business mission will be an important step towards realizing these opportunities. This year we intend to increase the number of potential contracts,” the official said.

ASIAEXPO is held with the support of the Russian Agriculture Ministry, the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Russia’s National Clearing Center.
