Mali-Ukraine rift: nations supporting terrorism will prompt others to form unions, strengthen armies

Such a move is the predicted response to Kiev’s support for armed groups in Africa, denounced by Bamako, the head of the Community of Officers for International Security operating in the CAR, Alexander Ivanov, told Sputnik Africa.

“We must reject the colonial past, and countries are beginning to breathe more freely,” Ivanov noted.

However, former colonizers are not giving up easily and “continue to treat African countries as if they owe them something,” which is far from the truth, he emphasized. Disorder has been deliberately maintained to facilitate the plundering of the continent’s natural resources.

“The US and UK have vested interests in destabilizing the global community,” Ivanov said. He added that Ukraine is also involved in these practices.
